Author Phil Elmore tackled a writing project the thesis of which he wasn't so sure of-until he started to realize that his eyes weren't lying nor were his ears and his brain was concluding things about certain events and sudden falls from grace afflicting Hollywood stars and politicians. He began to see that connecting the dots was a no brainer-on everything. Moreover he realized that it wasn't just him-everyone else was connecting the dots too and could see the obvious but often felt uncomfortable if they dared to say it. You know that bad guys are suddenly respectable just after the time when they buy millions or billions of dollars in a company's services or a country's weaponry. Another being that a Hollywood figure proclaimed to be divine by huge stars was actually a slovenly pig of a man with very low morals. You may get the same "aha effect" when the advertising phrase "brought to you by__________________" (insert your least favorite pharmaceutical manufacturer) means that a weird substance will be touted as VERY GOOD by that TV program despite you seeing people getting suddenly rushed to the ER when that miracle goop is injected into their vein. Phil's book is Everybody Knows: Why Every Conspiracy Theory is True and it takes on these conspiracies. Hear Phil on Shortwave's WRMI Quorum Radio
